A Playlist for Every Occasion

Here are some of the songs that me through whatever the day is bringing-be it unpacking, running, cooking, lounging around the house, or maybe having a secret one-person dance party!

When I'm unpacking our new apartment:

Rick James (I seriously love me some Rick James-you can confirm with Bryan), Beyonce, Lil Wayne, Ginuwine

When I'm running:

MGMT, 2 Chainz, Shakira

Most of these songs on my runningz playlist remind me of a time Bryan and I were out at a bar dancing or something fun like that, it helps me remember something awesome while I run. 

When I'm re-living our wedding:

Adele (first dance), Buble (Father-Daughter), Calvin Harris (Grand Entrance)

When we have a lazy Saturday/Sunday cooking and cleaning:

Common, Robin Thicke f. TI & Pharrell, Little Jackie, Alice Smith, The Beatles, Selena Gomez (no apologies here)  

When we are on a roadtrip and want to sing all the lyrics:

no joke, we listened to their albums non-stop to and from Florida...10 hours each way.  I can rap 90% of all Lonely Island songs start to finish.  Bryan can also confirm that...but maibs not happily.

What's your go-to song?   Mine change all the time, not included on here are several other artists I'm into now including Alabama Shakes, Miguel, Vitamin String Quartet, Emeli Sande, Frank Ocean, Justin Timberlake's new album, and most anything touched by Jay-Z.  

And yes my running playlist is so legit it's named after the best movie ever, Cool Runnings, but it's even more fun that Jamaican bobsledders, so it's Cool Runningz.  2 legit 2 quit baby.
