training

I'm running the Houston Half Marathon this January....I say that I'm a wannabe runner for a reason on my home page--it's because I don't feel like I'm a "real" runner!  I actually had a doctor tell me my ankles were so messed up that I wouldn't be able to run more than a 5K (high school cheerleading sprains, near-fractures from stepping off of curbs, etc.  Yes, KLUTZ is right.), so it feels like it will be a real triumph for me to even finish "the halfsies"!
